Hand hygiene (HH) is one of the most imporant practices in infection control. However, lack of HH compliance is a significant contributing factor to the increasing number of healthcare associated infections (HAIs). Methods to increase HH have not always shown long term change and there are no objective on-going interventions to measure compliance or to generate feedback to healthcare workers (HCWs).
